FunnyDay 2026: at DumBO a day dedicated to plant-based cuisine
On Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 11 to 21, the DumBO in Bologna hosts the third edition of FunnyDay, a festival organized by Funny Veg to discover plant-based cuisine through tastings, workshops, a market, and street food proposals. Entry is free and the event is open to both enthusiasts and those who want to explore new flavors.
Throughout the day, the Funny Veg corner offers free tastings of meatballs, spreads, plant-based egg and fish alternatives, and nut cream desserts, along with new products and giveaways for participants.
Those who want to try their hand in the kitchen can participate in the workshops led by FunnyVeg Academy teachers, dedicated to sushi, fresh pasta, baked goods, and sweets. Registration is free on the festival website.
The market offers not only specialty vegetarian food but also clothing, handicrafts, and cosmetics, with ideas for Christmas gifts. In the street food area, food trucks prepare vegetarian sushi, udon, and burgers.
FunnyDay takes place concurrently with Rail Market, which brings to the DumBO spaces illustrators, vintage items, independent brands, and vinyl records.
