PORRETTA TERME - the SPA
PORRETTA TERME Travel Guide

Located in the beautiful Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, Porretta Terme is part of the metropolitan city of Bologna. It is only 59 km from the provincial capital and is known for its thermal water benefits.
Since January 1, 2016, Porretta Terme has become the chief town of Alto Reno Terme, a new municipality formed from the merger of the municipal territories of Porretta Terme and Granaglione.
After a period of abandonment during the high Middle Ages, around the twelfth century the current inhabited center begins to take shape, and the first accommodation structures related to thermal waters. begin to appear
