CA' LA GHIRONDA & MODERN ART MUSEUM

Ca 'la Ghironda is a museum area located in the metropolitan city of Bologna, in the municipality of Zola Predosa, Ponte Ronca. It is surrounded by a park of 10 hectares, itself an outdoor museum because studded with installations of various contemporary artists that make it an absolutely unique landscape to visit.
The internal museum area presents a pictorial collection from the 16th to the 20th century, with works by Francesco Francia, Carracci, Guido Reni, Guercino, Luca Giordano and others. In addition to the collection, the Modern Art Museum hosts various temporary exhibitions throughout the year, with particular attention to contemporary art.
The Park presents a "petite" and a "Grande Promenade", in a gentle hill route, where there are more than 200 sculptures by great contor-panist artists. Not only that: the park is dotted with over 15,000 plants belonging to more than 150 different species that "welcome" the state facilities.
A Congress Center with Restaurant and a Resort are also part of the museum complex.
