MUV - Museum of Villanovan Civilization - Castenaso
The Museum was built in 1853 on the initiative of Count Giovanni Gozzadini, who had discovered in this area, at the end of the 1800s, the remains of the Villanovan culture, from the name of the town on which its land stood.
The museum displays the stele and funerary equipment of the necropolis of Marano di Castenaso, dating back to the 7th century BC, also usable through a multimedia system of projections, touchscreens and movies.
