civic Museum of RISORGIMENTO
MUSEO CIVICO RISORGIMENTO
Located on the ground floor of Casa Carducci, the Museo del Risorgimento preserves a collection of over 3000 artifacts related to the period between the French Revolution and the Great War.
Only a small part is exposed to the vision, including about 100 paintings and 70 sculptures in addition to all the material related to military history: uniforms, flags, handkerchiefs, about 700 weapons.
Two other structures, physically separated from the Museum, are also part of the Risorgimento Museum:
- Library with about 70,000 volumes and a rich collection of books dedicated to the history of Bologna,
- Certosa, the monumental city cemetery, a veritable open-air museum.

The ticket allows you to visit the Museum of the Risorgimento, the Museo di Casa Carducci, the Giardino memorial and any temporary exhibitions.
